You could have predicted the game would be unrealistic by reading the game's description. Since when is EXOSUIT realistic? Besides, what's wrong with unrealistic? COD is an arcade style shooter game, they're not tied to a "realistic" theme.

I cleared the game data, i'm playing on disc. yes, i'm playing on wired. i'll be mid game and it just freezes and i have to unplug my ps3. it's ridiculous, i have no problem with any other game, only this one.

I don't think I am. The higher ping player should be lagging behind and therefore lose the battle, even if he shoots first. Lag comp corrects that and therefore gives the advantage to the weaker connection. That is exactly what he is stating in that post.
All I know is I don't see this kind of connection with Infinity Ward games. Its a totally different feel.

I actually attempted this during my spare time while I was at school. Sadly, I never completed anything. I met a guy that was always drawing stuff, and I later found out that he was designing characters for his friend's games. A bit later, I met his friend who was testing the limits of his hardware by seeing how many sprites he could draw to the screen at once. He had just been to a computer event where they were doing this, and he was trying out his own version.
I felt a mixture of envy and awe. I went home and started a tonne of reading. OpenGL was my API of choice, and after a couple of months of solid reading of tutorials & articles, I got started. I gave it up about 3 years later when real life kicked in, and I didn't have enough spare time. I started 3 projects.
My favourite games to play right now are Arma 1 & 2, then Cold War Assault, then there is a massive gulf before everything else. I'd say my time writing was even more fun. Imagine in-game content that you're 100% interested in, and any change that you want done gets done -- that's writing. But it's super difficult.

Heh, I had to dig out my school computer from my folks' place in order to get these. Luckily it was in a buildable state albeit a little diagnosticky and extremely, extremely unfinished. Use your imaginations a bit.
The quality of that vid is absolutely horrendous though. I'm not sure why. The original mp4 looks fine, but it goes to the dogs as soon as I upload it . . meh .
Looking at the readmes that I wrote at the time, I credited nehe.gamedev.net, www.ultimategameprogramming.com, www.gametutorials.com and a book called "OpenGL Game Programming." The info is out there to get started if you have enough drive & patience, but making a polished and commercially acceptable product is a completely different deal.

uhhh are you serious??? I've been on the ps4 and xbox one forums pretty much daily since the game came out. I've seen wayyyyy more complaints about lag in the ps4 section. And the ones that are on xbox are usually people in other countries. At least xbox live has its own matchmaking. PSN just leaves it up to the game developer which obviously isn't working

Fix that worked for me, was to validate the cache in steam. Steam - game library, right click advanced warfare multiplayer, properties, , validate game cache.
Worked for me after finding no games for 3 days.
