I've noticed that for the past 2 weeks or so that in a lot of games some individuals as well as clans have been using this glich that I found. Wonder what it is? If you set your profile as offline for some reason or another the program reads you as not completely there. Don't believe me? Then why are more and more people doing it? And a clan party you only need one to be set as offline. Am I crazy, give it a try and find out for yourself.

If there is a very low amount of special edition units pre-ordered, I predict the Atlas Gorge bonus map will be available to everyone before the year is up.
I'ld like to say that it would be included in any copy of the game if the pre-orders are very low, or at least for the launch day copies, but we all know how many would whine about it being free.
The flip side of that view, is whats the sense of being able to play on that map if the low population is scattered across the world and makes for stinky connectivity.
Pure speculation of course but just more reason to not have bonus maps an option.

Re: Growing out of CoD, or does it just suck?
I've never understood the great need for loads of UAVs and Sat Coms, on 95% of maps everyone always goes to the exact same places anyway, there's always been an area or a building that everyone heads for.
On Stonehaven for example there will always be people at the top of the map, maybe a couple in the castle and then an odd guy in the middle whose probably on their way to one of those two points anyway. It only take a few games to know the spawn points so then you even know the one or two routes that they're going to take.
On the smaller maps why would you need them at all? Your only a few seconds away from next enemy.
My feeling is that as we now live in a different world to even ten years ago, everything now is disposable, faster and younger people demand instant gratification, they're less willing to play tactically and that's what Ghosts asks for some of the time. I don't think there's anything wrong with Ghosts other than it's not what the majority now want, it was bad timing and bad judgement that they thought community were looking for a COD game where tactics played a part.
Gamers now seem to want a kill every five seconds without too much thinking, planning or even walking, it's out with the three course meal and in with the fast food. I'm not 100% convinced that jumping around from one building to another is the answer either, we shall see.

Zombies black ops 1 & 2 achievement hunting on xbox.
Wanting to complete every achievement possible on zombies. I have done every easter egg on bo 2 but i've not gotten every achievement. On bo 1 I havent completed any easter eggs but know the steps and I havent got any dlc achievements for bo 1. Leper Spawn Locations?
I know we've had the conversation (see: Damn You Leper! ) on how frustrating the the Leper Challenge can be. But let me ask this question:
Where Are The Leper Spawn Points?
I've been playing this game since release and still find it difficult, and it is probably my most failed challenge. Now I'm pretty sure I know some of them, but please, enlighten me with some others so I'll know which direction to go when this challenge comes up on certain spots on the maps.

I don't know of any great way of finding the Leper but I have been told that not shooting makes him come to you faster, which I have found to be seemingly helpful, although it does result in downs more often then Lepers. He does always seem to show himself about 15 seconds into the challenge. The hardest part is figuring out which Cryptid he is, He is just larger and slightly different color, but the MOST OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE I have found if his TAIL, its long and forked, kind of resembling a snake tounge. That is the most distinguishing detail I have found.
Sadly though I am not sure of exactly where they spawn or the best way to find them...

Re: Exodus: New Armoury Upgrades?
Here are some thoughts from someone who has all of the upgrades - except for double class.
First, two comments. There are lots of valid analyses on this forum about the upgrades, so I'd read them before making any decisions; these are just my opinions. Second: I assume you have all of the pre-Nemisis DLC upgrades. If not, the transfer attachments is a must-have, as are the class upgrades relevant to your playing style, start with a skill point, etc., so I'd consider investing in those before some of the newest ones.
For what it's worth:
- The cryptic slayer ammo (CSA) is killer, especially when combined with arcing stun ammo. Fabulous whether playing solo or co-op (but in the latter case, be prepared to be the "ammo guy" virtually all of the time)... in which case, starting with the extra $1,000 is a pretty good add-on as the sooner you throw down a box of it, the easier it makes the game go, and the way it upgrades means you only have to put 3 points into it (the last 2 points to get the "regen" are a waste
- If you get the CSA, definitely get the arching stun ammo as well and you'll be amazed at how well it works, especially with a more powerful guns
- I'd go for the pistol ark attachment before the master scavenger (MS). I did it the other way, would have gone for the ark first - it really rocks no matter what pistol you use, makes running pistols only a breeze
- Which is not to say MS isn't worth it. There are lots of complaints about the scavenger upgrade, and there's no question it can be streaky and somewhat illogical relative to factors such the number of players (i.e., 5 arks in 2 player game, 7 in a 3 player game) but if the other players let the scavengers do there thing more often than not there'll be lots of arc, extended mags, and rapid fires. The flare boost basically make a regular flare into a sticky flare and that alone makes this one worthwhile. Although hypno knives are supposedly more powerful with this upgrade, in comparison to flares, the knife the effect is marginal at best. I usually don't pick the knives up anymore in favour of flares, which really make most challenges a lot easier. Which is valuable, now that there is a 4 teeth bonus for completing all challenges. Plus, with an ark and/or pistol arc, rhinos are ridiculously easy to kill, especially with the crypid ammo - sort of makes the knives obsolete. Finally, I've yet to play a solo game where I don't find an ark and extended mags, and often both, and my luck's also been excellent in 2 player games
- If you usually equip the vulture, the extended duration upgrade is well worth the 50 teeth. When I first used it I found myself constantly trying to buy another vulture only to find it was still there... the effect is noticeable at all upgrade levels, but really impressive when it's fully upgraded - plus, and this is the best feature - when fully upgraded you get twice as many incendiary rockets. It's great on its own, but you should see how having 3 or 4 of them fully upgraded up at the same time just tears up the map
- Since the class boost duration has been reduced, the frequency boost upgrade is actually pretty worthwhile - however, at 200 teeth it's more of a"luxury" and not nearly as useful as the other upgrades
Finally, in case you're equivocating about saving for the double class first, I play with friends who bought that first and others who, like me, could have swung it but elected for the other upgrades. The consensus seems to be that the CSA, stun ammo, MS, and pistol ark are a lot more fun. If I had to do it over again I'd still elect to wait on the double class, but I don't know if those who did the double class first would say the same thing....

I'm not sure where the spawn locations are. When that challenge comes up just throw down feral instincts and you'll easily see him. He's the same size as a hunter and he usually keeps away from the rest of the aliens and runs away quite a lot. I've sometimes noticed that he can attack the drill if you're far enough. Another way is using flares but make sure you stay well back from it

i'm on Xbox. bought Master Scavenger a couple days ago. i have played about 8 games with it. all on POC. have not found the first ark. have found extended mags almost every game. but no Arks. 3 of those games, i was the only one that searched. and let me tell you . that makes for long, boring games. the other games there was another guy that had MS, and we both searched. 0 arks. really thinking that i just wasted a ton of teeth for crap. i can see maybe not getting one every game, but 8 games and not one single ark? c'mon

Cheers vims, I had become aware of it. This is great news and you're right..it does shut ne up..and the moaners. But strangely my mates still arnt going near it..dont know why. Options are great. Just hope they put an option in for players who have a strong preference for the "you killed" box. I love hosting private games and its just essential for fast flowing banter!!

0% damage increase. Every hit is critical though. I fond sniper challenges much easier now. And don't mind holding on to the sniper for a while. Used to switch to anything as soon as the challenge was complete.

the color is only a different variant, the duration of sticky flares are the same as regular flares and is affected aswell.
sticky flares and regular flares without the upgrade lasts 20 seconds and with the upgrade there both affected and last 30 seconds as a result of a 50% bonus

This game is just broken, completely and utterly broken.
Ive just watched someone on a killcam kill me, he shot someone else with the K7 from a fair distance and failed to kill him in 6 bullets (this is fine, thats how i would expect it to run). he then turned his attention to me from the same distance and he shot me 3 times (the last shot being when i was already round a corner) and i died. Why have i got less health?
