haha yeah I thought about BO2 just after I pressed send. It's quite a biased opinion tbh, I came from WW2 CoD's where the hip-firing was much more of a last resort thing and I have always enjoyed getting kills through accuracy rather than spraying power. It's nothing major, I just seem to die too easily to people hip-firing from longer ranges then I personally would like to be. SMG's and shotguns don't really bother me because in many ways that is just the guns nature.
but yeah to be on topic, The MTAR is a strange gun, it can be easily owned by other SMG's at close ranges and AR's at longer ranges. I think it's optimal range just fits right with the range most gun fights take place in which makes it seem more OP than it is, muzzle break helps range a lot though.
