Same problem for me, started today. XB1, downloaded version instead of disc tho. It tries to load, gets to screen with guy in mask and then goes black after few seconds. I've deleted from hard drive & re-downloaded, no luck. Any help appreciated.

Maybe KDR, W/L and percentage of people avoiding you should determine how good a player is in COD! I had a pack of shotgun boys in MW3 (you know the ones that are in a party all toting Strikers and running around the outside of the map at top speed knowing you can probably kill one of them, but die to the other two, or three, or four...they always ran in packs) do the same thing to me when I had the nerve after a couple of games to actually grab my main LMG overwatch class and sit there (CAMP) and just obliterated them for a couple of games until they left the lobby. I guess all the cussing at me wasn't enough for them, so they all reported me as unsporting. I guess their definition of sporting involves pub stomping random noobs who never fight back.
So I say wear it as a badge of honor for actually playing the game smart!

Now that I'm getting a much better understanding of what it is that you're getting at with this post after reading all the replies, I would absolutely love to see what the developers or programmers would have to say.
A thought that the game's respawn system was catered to less skilled players by making spawn trapping impossible for skilled players is crazy in my opinion. That type of thinking is just hard for me to get my head around.
Now if you had just said, "It seems IW's respawn system has steered away from spawn trapping and in turn has created more random quirky respawn deaths", I would have to agree.

It IS the fault of the devs if matchmaking is broken, if they pick shtty hosts, etc. How can I have a great connection to every other game I play, except ghosts, where bullets don't register so often that I quit the match only to be placed in it again immediately.
You cannot assume that because you have no lag, anyone else who does, it is their fault. Just the plain fact that people connect from all over the world should at least get you thinking that maybe, somewhere else outside of your neighborhood, there might be something going on that makes conditions for lag different than it is for you. That maybe, just maybe, matchmaking does NOT actually put people in the best possible lobbies, or that in game, other factors affect lag, factors that seem to be nonexistent in many many many other games.
