Your wishlist for Treyarch's next COD?

In terms of story and MP?     I'll make a start, BOOTS ON THE GROUND. No futuristic stuff anymore it's getting tiresome and it's just not as good as the classic style COD we all know and love.

if there were  just 10 prestiges and no levels up to 1000 i would say it was deffo overkill having 2xp so often.

there's no denying that it seems more or less every other week now so they may have watered down the effect.

c'mon treyarch do a 3xp! or 2x everything weekender.

....or raise the weapon drop rates to at least 0.01%

I'll ignore the cheap shots you attempted to take in your other reply.

Insulting an entire community of players is... "having a good convo?". Demanding to know what people's K/D is while insulting them with insinuations that it is low isn't having a conversation, it is rude and uncalled for.

Fact is, there are challenges in Core, and Challenges in Hardcore. This is a solid, unavoidable Fact.

I've played Hardcore in Battlefield (I actually prefer their core modes in that case) and it is certainly not true that "all players camp in corners with sniper rifles", nor is that even remotely true in BO3 Hardcore. Most of the matches I have been a part of have been fast and intense. Sure, there are slower matches here and there, but there is always a variety of gameplay within those matches.

Listen, you don't enjoy playing Hardcore? Fine, that is understandable... it's not for everyone. But don't belittle those who do, it lowers the level of conversation and, quite frankly, it just makes you look petty.

My McDonald's comment and your response to it is out of context (thus no misdirection).  I assume I was not clear...My point was:

If one wanted to make a change, make the change that matters.  Switching from regular coke to diet coke, while still ordering a Big Mac and Large Fries, is not going to make the difference they are wishing to make (my example was weight loss).. and one who thinks it will, is seriously kidding themselves (having nothing to do with cost, and not really specific to MickyDs at all).

Having said that (and to the point of DLC):

If one wanted to play the game (for Campaign as an example) and wishes to make a stand, then yes one could not buy any DLC.  My "buy it all, or buy nothing" was in response to someone else saying they wished to only buy DLC one buy one which gives them the option to not buy everything. That has proven to be a mistake.

This may not be specific to you, or to the OP, or anyone for that matter.. but the problem I see is: "As COD players, we want to play the game but are unhappy with the current state of affairs so we wish to make that known"

But this is playing for opposing teams at the same time (if that made sense).  One premise (our wanting to play the game), is potentially causing mental conflicts with the other (we do not want to support the business).

Agreed. I don't care for all game types, so I stay away from moshpits.

Amen to that. I could play BO1 for hours and hours, as well as MW2 but this game I play a couple and just walk away. CoD's just become a frustrating cluster f*. I grew up with the original CoDs and I always looked forward to the next but the down hill for me began with BO2. It was OK. Just OK. I actually enjoyed Ghosts. Maybe more players per map would have been a bit better but nothing was as fun as Warhawk Domination IMO. Loved that map. Then AW.....Everyone has already said what needs to be said about that "red headed step child" (No offense Gingers). Hopefully I can find somthing that draws me in again even if it's not CoD.

And to add (sorry, silly forum will not allow me to edit)...

People have left the game in the past for less, and this is not the 1st time micro-DLC has been in a COD game. In fact, I heard yesterday(?) that GTA made a HUGE amount through micro-DLC (statistically, everyone who bought the game spend an average of $8 in micro-DLC).

So what does this mean...

If everyone on this forum, other forums, and reddit all stood up and said "ENOUGH!!! none of us are going to buy micro DLC"... that is a scratch on a scratch on the surface and will likely do nothing to solve the greater problem because so many more people do buy it.

If everyone on this forum, other forums, and reddit all stood up and said "ENOUGH!!! none of us are going to pre-order the game"...  well that could mean people see no value in pre-orders, but so what? The game sells what ever it is going to sell on release (which has little to no impact on DLC)

People figure "Why pre-order the game if everyone is going to get this or that eventually"... well that means nothing as stores just fill up with pre-order editions (how many of us did not pre-order, but still have such an edition??)

I think we have to remember that if you combine all the users of all the forums together, it is only a fraction of the people playing.

As long as the game sells, and DLC sells, and micro-DLC sells, we will continue to see it coming back over and over again... because as a business model, it is a winner (no matter how much you or I hate it).

Man, Warhawk brings back the memories. That was a blast.

What they need to do is Program it into the General MM period. If you have a team looking for a game in say core Domination, the MM should only look for teams, not a bunch of random solo players. This way it doesn't fracture the player base with 30 different game modes either. Simpler is always better.

Haha! After writing that post, I think I might install Ghosts again just to play a few games on warhawk!

"Switching from regular coke to diet coke, while still ordering a Big Mac and Large Fries, is not going to make the difference they are wishing to make (my example was weight loss).. and one who thinks it will, is seriously kidding themselves."

Lol.. That's not true at all... If all you drink is Soda and you switch to Diet Soda, you will be decreasing your caloric intake and yes you will slowly see a difference... But I get the point your trying to make...

"But this is playing for opposing teams at the same time (if that made sense).  One premise (our wanting to play the game), is potentially causing mental conflicts with the other (we do not want to support the business)."

Yup, that's an issue isn't it?... I want to support the base game and maps but I hate the present business model and I want my dissatisfaction felt by Acti...

Just a thought, do you think those pre-order numbers put any pressure on where to spend the development dollars as to MDLC? If a lack of pre-order dollars shows a lack of interest in the new game then maybe Acti would not have the Dev's spend time on onstalling too much of the MDLC crap..?

First thing you have to do is breach the door in the hardware store. Send pics.
