In other words... Far Cry that didn't feel clunky and odd but had the smoothness and quality that CoD as a FPS has? ....yes, it would be awesome. I don't think CoD should be the ones to do it though, I enjoy the linear aspect CoD has and hope they continue that and don't change it's formula too much.
I'ld rather see another developer/publisher step up there game and make that happen. Wouldn't it have been cool if Respawn had some sort of open world scenario with the setting Titanfall was in? Or to go down the WW2 route with Sniper Elite but make it truly open world and less sandbox like Sniper Elite 3?
Like Matuzz brought up, The Division might quench that thirst but if the mechanics feel like RS Siege, I won't be looking forward to it.

I feel for you guys, I really do.
Your 3 bars is likely as you are being forced onto a distant dedi or the listen host is too distant also.
If you get a local listen host (like your friend hosting a game) and the host is stable/has quality connection, then you will have far superior games.
Realistically Activation could (and lets be honest, should) set up dedis in the following locations to service the regions with actual decent coverage while also relieving Euro and US servers and the lonely outlying servers (Aus, South Africa etc)
* Rabigh/Thuwal or Djibouti (where the spurs connect from the Europe to Asia SMW cables) This can cover most of North Africa and relieve Cape Towns dedi from service the entire African continent
* Dubai (to cover the Middle East region and Pakistan
* Kolkata (to service India, Sri Lanka, Mayanmar etc through to West China and parts of Thailand
* Singapore or Kuala Lumpur (service South East Asia and parts of Oceania (massive population here, massive telecommunications infrastructure also)
* Hong Kong or Shenzhen (speaks for itself, billions of people in this region and only one server in Tokyo, nowhere near tolerable capacity)
5 dedicated servers that would service the African, Asian and European continents & outlying regions to take huge pressure off their current dedi network while allowing players to actually have reasonable connections.
AND/Or they could tweak the listen hosting parameters to make it so we can only connect to really good, local hosts that have really stable connections.

Starting new clan For MGL Gamebattles Black ops 3 (ps4)
hay guys im Creating a Clan (FullMetalAlpha) for MLG Gamebattles
we need 3 more people that are interested right now were not doing tryout unless we get more then 3 people
i will be taking every game very seriously because we will be playing for cash in tournaments
we dont have set practice dates yet because we need the hole team (6 people all together) so we can work with everybody to set it up
the only requirements is that you have to be 18 plus years old and need a mic so we can communicate
we will be playing both game modes hardcore and core but we will be practicing whatever mode is coming up for the next tournament
you will also need some sort of income because it will cost money to play in these tournaments but the more we win the more cash we make and play other tournaments for free
but plz only serious inquires only wenna take this very serious cus theirs serious money to be made in this

I almost switched to 360, just before the Wii U was released. I was too cheap to buy xbox live so I would only play on the xbox live free weekends. I remember I was just about to buy an xbox live card and switch console, then I heard that BO 2 was coming to Wii U and changed my mind. Now I gotta wait to see wait to see what console Nintendo is releasing later this year, and if wii remote and call of duty will be on it.
