I noticed that both teams footsteps are softer than my own, not just the enemy, my guys run up the stairs with me and all I hear is my own footsteps even when I stop, I can hardly hear them going pass me

No way I'm saying farewell, I have a feeling, until they come out with a new better extinction (which almost always the original is the best so might never happen), I'll be playing this every now and then forever. This is a game I will probably never sell or remove from hard drive. I see myself, down the road, having an hour or so to kill, firing up extinction and playing a map.

there is no ensuring you will have the best connection possible. Currently the games connectivity is (to me) poor.

Why not treat this game like a new game and a not like all the other CODS? I had to adapt...took me at least 4-5 hours of gameplay before I had a class loadout I was happy with. Now, I'm having a hell of a time zipping across the map, taking advantage of the verticality and mobility...what a blast!

COD takes time to get good at. I'm a multiyear vet of COD and I haven't put in enough time yet with this title to be good at it. However, I know that it will come and I know what it takes to get there. Every year I go through the same process of getting my butt handed to me early and dominating the competition as the game progresses. It's hard not to let your struggles get you down but you have to consider that most folks in their first COD title do well to be breaking a 1 kd overall by the end of it. Once they are into their second title a whole lot of things start clicking and after they get past the new game learning curve they really start to shine. You'll get there if you put the time in but you have to be patient with yourself. I wouldn't focus at all on your overall stats but rather look at things more so from the what am I doing now perspective. Am I doing any better today than I did at the beginning of the week? Am I doing better this week than I did last week. Really the week to week check is the better one to consider. You are going to have up and down matches along the way but what you want to work towards is just becoming a consistent middle of the pack player right now. Once you have that down you'll have a good baseline to start working towards being a good top of the pack player. Just work things in stages and you'll do fine.

Yeah you would have thought this bug would have been noticed.
It's especially annoying as it effects both xbox one and ps4 which means i'm having to put up with the horrible graphics on the 360 and ps3.
But to be honest I would rather play the game with horrible graphics than put up with this bug.

The first title is always a struggle. Starting the first title during launch week adds to the struggle because the servers often are still being tuned and you'll have a harder time just figuring out what is causing you to die so much. If you keep putting in the time and use your deaths as learning experiences then you'll eventually figure out how things work and what setups fit your playstyle. After that happens you'll start to do better and eventually you'll see why people keep coming back to COD every year. For as much as people say it's easy, it really isn't until you learn the nuances. They may seem small but mastering them makes a big difference.
