I'm the same way with the internet, that's why I think people should get banned for the remainder of that particular season but ONLY after a bunch of reports of them quitting early from different people in different games. Say 10 within a 3 or 5 day time period or something like that. Something high enough that it would be unlikely to affect people having the occasional legitimate disconnect, yet low enough to discorage (or at least reduce) the rage quitters and people who quit because they just don't like the map, etc. I know rage quitters that do it 10 times within an afternoon, people with legitimate occasional internet issues arn't going to have that happen. If they are having internet problems and get disconnected a couple of times within a short time they are going to stop trying to play and reset their router, etc. So yea, you would still have the rage or map hatter quitters but not as often, they wouldn't be able to just keep doing it over and over, they'd realize they only get 10 times per every 3 or 5 days. With some of the ones I have seen that would be about a 97% improvement for them. If they can't keep themselves from rage quitting or map hate quitting anymore often then that we don't need them anyway. I know more people makes matchmaking easier but no one I've talked to in the games thinks that having matchmaking be a few seconds faster is worth the trade-off of having these people quit mid-game (or before it even starts) anyway.
Another idea I had that may even be more fair than banning them for the remainder of that season is to ban them for something like 5 days or 10 days regulardless of the season. Because some might start quitting more near the end of the season knowing their ban wouldn't be but a day or two anyway if that's all that was left in that season. So it might make more sense to ban them for a set number of days regulardless of the season.
