Why does it seem if you run continuously when playing in a match you die almost immediately?

#I prestige mastered on WIIU and since coming back to PS3 noticed the penalty for runners? if I hear gunshot I go down. Its bad. of course i could care less regarding deaths but some matches so unplayable?
