OP, you entire argument is invalid. You don't know what you are talking about.

 

The Remington will only kill in two shots if they are headshots in close range. It's a 3 shot kill minimum to the body with 49 damage and eventually only does 20 damage making it a 5 shot kill at long range. The ARs in MW2 were just as good if not better. Only three of the ARs dropped to that 20 damage level that Remington does in Ghosts. One was the F2000 which is probably the worst in the game. The other two were the ACR and M4A1 which were easier to use with less recoil than the Remington. However, don't forget that a huge portion of the community ran stopping power which adds 40% to all damage so putting them equal is kind of misleading. Almost all the ARs in MW2 had less recoil than the Remington. Please go back and play some MW2 so you actually know what you are talking about.

 

Even using BO1 and MW2 in the same sentence is confusing. Those two games feel so different in recoil, damage, and hit detection for weapons. Saying Ghosts should be be like both is asking it to do two different things at the same time.

 

The guns in Ghosts are basically the same if not are slower to kill than the guns in the MW series. In my opinion, the weapon balance in Ghosts among the best in the series. If you have trouble doing well with a gun then it's something you are doing wrong. The worst guns like the CBJ, AR-X, FP6, and Lynx are still good enough that I can top a lobby. It's your lack of skill and unwillingness to learn that is the problem.
