i find players to play with at all hours of the day. I like the game for the most part and have been vocal of my dislikes. Unfinished and the worst cod that doesn't resemble this shooter in my opinion is just not true. GSS is correct about the spawns. In objective modes you and your teammates control the spawns a lot. For a game in which people can cross a map in seconds I think they have done pretty good. In tdm and kc I am actually finding myself having to rush back to the action. I have played pretty much all console cods and have seen worse spawns with boots on the ground and bigger maps. In everyone's coveted bo2 I can't tell you how many times I have spawned onto an enemy teams grenade indicator. Of coarse I have had horrible spawn situations in AW but usually it's in Dom while my teammates are trying to triple cap. I remember when triple capping was the last thing to do and defending b was a must. Even I will grab the enemies a or c on maps like comeback where five or six of the enemy are building their home let alone camping. Shutting down their servers are ludicrous, look at ghost that people are still playing. A year ago hitler had more admirers. I think GSS pops up more when people give their opinions as fact. He is on the boards a lot and as with a lot of others get tired of the same "facts" that keep popping up. He has voiced his dislike for many things in this game. He just voices his opinions more readily and without holding back where as someone like me probably reads the threads, rolls my eyes and moves on unless it just gets ridiculous. This thread, well I was just waiting while the wife finishes dinner. BO3 is about to hit so this game that sounds as if it ruins so many lives will disappear from your minds and all will be right. In another year when bo3 has pissed in everyone's cheerios we can all come back and say how much we liked AW. I already see tons of people coming out on YouTube ranting about AW and it is in vogue to say ghost wasn't half bad.

iHattoriHanzo0 I can see where you are coming from now. I still don't agree with it but whether it is the real case it makes a bit more sense. Still is a bad move, an unfinished port doesn't reflect well on the company, it just doesn't, but hopefully you are right in that it is only a deadline issue because of late development for past-gen. I don't know Activisions rules, policies etc regarding when a game is published and what time it has to be in by, but i'm sure a lot of players would appreciate it being released as DLC later down the track, or even a second disc...although I doubt it will happen.

There's many different ways to determine what makes a good map. I like maps that are challenging, granted every map becomes easier after you play it so much. But my favorite of all time is Moon, I'll never forget the first time playing and wondering what the hell was going on when you first spawned in, then trying to get jugg. I struggled getting to round 10 the first few times playing it. Has nothing to do with affordability or 'what's the difference' (I'm sure for some it is though). I still keep my 360 but I had no reason to upgrade. I get two free games a month with gold and am finishing many at the moment still.  Currently playing BO2, Ghosts, CoD4, Metro 2033, Dishonored, Crysis 3 campaign and GTAV. I had no reason to upgrade other than Destiny and BO3. It's the same for a lot of people. Why fork out $400 for something you don't need? The problem is that when you say you are going to release a port, a port., people expect it to work as well as it's counterpart. Old-Gen were told it wouldn't have full-functionality, and then the news get's worse and worse. The port should never have happened in the first place. Whether or not people upgrade, let them do it on their own terms, just don't make it for old-gem if you don't want your fanbase on old-gen or you can't DO IT on old-gen. Activison, Treyarch, whoever, made a mistake, an it will sadly cost them a lot in terms of opinion. Of course people will be left behind in time, and they all know it. I know it. But if you stick your hand up and say, "We are going to support past-gen. This game is going to be ported." It is only fair in the fanbase mind, to do it properly. What's the point otherwise?

Hello, I am a recruiter for the multi-platform gaming organization known as Xiled Gaming Network or (XGN). Our community has been gaming together since 2010 and are currently accepting new members. Now let me start off by saying this, XGN is not for everyone, Yes you heard me right. Our play-style is not for all players. We are a community built around family. Although we do have several professional teams that attend events worldwide our primary goal has been and will continue to be bring gamers together, create friendships and enjoy the game as a group.

 

 

We currently have 11,000+ members apart of our organization which we separate into divisions and then into squads of 100. This introduces the member to 100 fellow gamers that may share the same interest and beliefs. Creating friendship and unity.

XGN is made up of skilled and casual players on over 10 different games and 3 different consoles. There is no skill requirement to take part in the fun. We offer a lot of cool things in each division of the clan like gun crowns where we 1v1 for a certain gun and winner gets that crown for that gun. We offer training work shops which teaches you about the clan and how to rank up in the clan and a bunch of other stuff. 

We also have game nights where we try and get a bunch of people on to one game like smite or cod aw, battlefield etc etc. Its a night where we try and have the most activity on one game

Head Hunters (competitive team) each division has a team called head hunters. It is our competitive team where if you make the team we play in tournaments and can win anywhere between bragging rights to scuf controllers, g fuel etc etc. If a sponsor sends us stuff we put those on the line in the tournament. . If they dont send us stuff them it is just bragging rights. We also do gb, umg etc etc. So if your a competitive player you will enjoy this.

While I appreciate your zest for previous gen releases, I feel it degrades the experience for both sides. Lack of player base is just one example. It takes away from both sides. This is obviously one of the last nails in the coffin in my opinion.

Maybe part of the issue us people EXPECT too much from a port. One should never expect much from a port. Particularly one done by a different developer.
