If somebody isn't rev-boosting then they get an early gun or two or three from extra SD's as they are learning maps and the game play, whatever. If they still don't/can't do well enough to stop the SD gravy train then getting all the guns in the game probably won't matter.
Nobody should waste time getting a new account and then "illegally" reverse boost on it just to prove something that is in all likelihood there.. It would just show that SD drops may drop on a different random paradigm for the new peeps...They do it with SIMM so why not SD's? And, just like all the SIMM rev-boost hate videos on youtube, the video proof that that you can screw with the rate of SD drops would not prove anything but you can cheat and video that behavior.
From my experiences normal players get normal SD drop cycles.
So you are conceding that SDs are not totally random? Its the whole basis of the argument BTW.

Why do you say it wouldn't prove anything? It would and will prove that bad players get more chances at elite weapons. Does that not bother you?

Actually the exact opposite. Well, Ghosts and BO2 are different. I did not have an Xbox One at the time nor a gaming PC when Ghosts came out, and the 360 is not really mine, so I got Ghosts and BO2 after they came out. Advanced Warfare, I was totally hyped. I got one-day shipping and when I came home was super excited. Same with the games before that. Modern Warfare 3 was a huge game for me. I played that game a ton, got 10th Prestige in about 2 months I played it so much. That was really the last game that I had a lot of (real-life) friends playing. After that, I was on my own and people generally quit COD (of those who I knew). Black Ops 1, my hype was huge, got that day 1 also. Modern Warfare 2, oh I cannot even explain. WAW I have no recollection if I got that the day it came out. COD 4, no I got that a month or so after it came out. COD 3... some time I cannot remember.
I was never like, "Ugh, another $60". COD was my favorite game. Heck, I was addicted. It was so much fun and I was shooting to thrill when the game came out every year. I was actually considering redoing my BO3 preorder, but realized one-day shipping costs $4 more now, so I did not do that. Basically, when friends quit playing Call of Duty, I got less into it. In fact I'll go as far as saying that having real friends to play the game with and talk to makes it 500% more fun. I find myself turn on COD and turn it off if no friends are on.

But I feel like BO3 is going to be one of those games like every COD where I will get addicted, but it'll be a bad addiction. Rather than the type of addiction I had in the past, where I was proud to play a lot, it'll be something more of the "ugh, what time is it? I wasted away my whole day."

I'll admit that I had BO2 for Wii U so I did not have any DLC, but I did not like Transit period. Now, I have played a BO2 DLC zombie map before, and I thought it was fun, but still did not match BO1 zombies.

Imagine you are a COD developer. Not a very popular one. Just one who sits there, minds his own business, and codes. All the developers get called to a conference meeting. There is a box in the middle of the long desk on the 40th floor of some fancy skyscraper in New York. You are told to stop spinning in the swivel chairs. It is announced: everyone gets one slip of paper, gets to write one sentence on what feature would revolutionize or impact BO3 significantly, and put it in the box. What would your paper look like?

it was a 4 game experiment . my lord. i just wanted to see for myself which of the 2 evils is worse and
for sure being able to ACTUALLY affect my opponents physically by shooting them from a distance and keeping them weak is wayyyyy more worse then i shoot them and it hits me.
you stated in core you could do some things that would negatively affect the "game" in this situation i can currently affect the "players themselves"
therefor i conclude that ricochet is the far less of the 2 evils. I also did this on MW2 and since it was just ricochet noone even noticed!!!!
with out ricochet i can actually affect your KD and stats.

Of all DLCs I ever buy for games, I always think I wasted my money. That was except Black Ops 1. Black Ops 1 brought exceptional zombies and I was more than thrilled to purchase the DLCs. Let us not forget that DLC 4 included 5 zombie maps: Moon, Nacht Der Untoten, Zombie Veruckt, Shi-no-Numa, and Der-Reise. In addition, 4 mp maps. If they make the zombies awesome, and possibly include more than one zombie map, I'll gladly buy the DLC if I get the game.

Correct, I had no issues when running on Windows 8.
I tried verifying the integrity of the cache the other day, did it again for good measure this afternoon; no help.
Also set it to run in compatibility mode for Windows 8. Also no help
