    and i could go for boost dodge with a cooldown like every 7 secs you can boost 2 times or something to that effect.

    Ayr. If I had to pick one to keep it would be the dodge. Adds a little diversity but gets rid of the "flea" effect. I like exo, but I don't want to see it in every cod, Id prefer they mix it up. Which I'm sure they are doing. I think right now, like everything nowadays everyone is making a big deal about exo movement cause the hype train is gaining momentum. By the time the full launch trailer is released it won't be such a hot topic.

    There will be consumers for cod for many years yet. Particularly since those who hate it continue to buy it. Even if they stay on their current path SHGs next game will still be in the top three in sales. As much as I didn't care for bo2, I hope BO3 revitalizes the franchise for those who are getting burnt out.

    Well first of all you're playing objective in most clips and we all know objective has never had good spawns except on some of the very old CoDs e,g, CoD4, WAW and MW2. BO 1 was quite good as well and modern warfare 3 was a bit of a mix bag but after patching it was quite good.

     

    I don't think the video is fair because it doesn't show any of the good spawns the game had e.g. If we playing on Prison Break and you were at the guard tower and you were killed you'd spawn around the other side by the log pile, which is good spawn logic. In every game you will have bad spawns but I never experienced them to that extent when I was playing HC TDM or even regular TDM,. Was I spawn Killed? Yes. Was it as often as BO2? Hell no.

     

    However I was not revenge spawn killed often, quite often I'd spawn away from the fight and quite often I'd spawn by team mates.

    Fellow forum-member ghamorra created some really good threads a year or two ago regarding the whole camping mythology. Really good reading.

     

    As far as "people who run around like an idiot the whole game," you may be a little late to that party. "Headless chicken" is the term that has floated around for years. It never made it into Call of Duty: Dictionary Ops, but we the community (which includes YOU) never finished Dictionary Ops. Maybe I'll go back and amend it and give you credit for coining the term.

    You reach a certain amount of kills then a certain stat on the gun goes up one point. You could make your gun better and more powerful a lot of ways like getting your accuracy to a certain number or getting your kd with that gun to a certain number. It would be a race to max out your favorite gun or some would try to grind and max out every gun.

  • So here we go...Its been announced! Black Ops 3 is the next call of duty!

        Im dissapointed..I wanted WAW2. I felt with the modern Ghosts and the future Advanced Warfare it was only obvious the last available slot was the past. Wrong..Treyarch want to copy Sledge and make an Advanced Warfare 2?? Sorry, but I really enjoy AW for being so different..why then having 3 yrs production time do Treyarch bring out exactly the same game..booooo Treyarch.

        Look, I havnt seen much of it yet so maybe im wrong..but going by all the clues and a pic of a soldier with what looks like another exo suit on and being confirmed that its a totally future deal, what else can we expect.

        Well heres my two cents for all its worth...

        If exos are in..make them killstreaks or atleast limited to one boost per life.

        Give us claymores that arnt f#####g useless and can't be countered by a perk that everyone HAS to use anyway like blindeye on AW..it just makes them completely redundant..bad move Sledge!

        Bring back the "you killed" pop up centre screen so especially in private you know who you've just killed because once your screen is bloody youve got no chance of reading that stupid eye squinty scrolling killfeed and the banter flows much better.

        Give us medium and small maps..nothing vast like ghosts.

        So what do you guys think of exo suits really...will they make or break the next game if theyre included...and briefly outline what you want included from AW and what you dont...

    I'd venture to say that COD4 not only had a greater player population than WaW throughout the WaW season, COD4 still had a great player population during MW2, as well. That's amazing because MW2 still remains the fan-favorite after all these years and you can still find plenty of lobbies in MW2. Personally, I believe MW2 had the most quality control issues of any COD to date so it certainly wasn't my favorite. Anyway, the point is that COD4 could compete with BO2 for legacy - and COD4 was competing against MW2.

     

    BO1 has a pretty decent legacy, as well and it competes against MW2, MW3, and BO2.

     

    Those things in mind, I'd say that while the legacy of BO2 is impressive? COD4 had a greater legacy with BO1 in a close second. I'll grant you BO2 for third place.

     

    BO2, imo, was the most over-simplified COD to date. And that's why it is still enjoyed by many COD gamers.

    I'm not understanding how you can call AW too predictable and BO2 unpredictable. At the end of the BO2 season, the number one complaint about BO2 was the fact that every map followed the E3 layout making movement too predictable. That was the driving factor behind map design for Ghosts. No way you can say BO2 did not have the most predictable maps in COD history. It's a fact: IW responded with a direct opposite approach to map lay out and design based entirely upon the volume of complaints about TA's maps in BO2.
