  • Nooooo... SMGs are terrible in this game the shotguns didn't really disappoint me because they've been bad since Em Dub Tree so there was no real surprise there, but the SMGs have been seriously neglected in AW.

  • BO2 spawns on Nuketown were stable?  I would think the plethora of dedicated Nuketown spawn complaining threads on the BO2 forum are enough to say you are wrong.  There hasn't been an easier map to exploit the spawn trap than that one.

     

    There IS controlling the spawns without six players putting their back on the outside walls.  You need to play with better people that can follow simple instructions.  One player that pushes just a little too far throws it off.  We have controlled spawns (keeping them on "their" side) quite a few times.  I have also been in games were our clan was roflstomped because the other team did it much better.  Take domination for example.  If you control 'A' and 'B' and the opponent controls 'C', it only takes one of your players to push hard to the other spawn before it flips the spawn to 'A' (attempting to cap the flag usually does it).  This is why the really good domination teams will cap two flags, control the routes and not push any further than the 'B' flag.  There are too many people that think they need to sprint the entire time they are in a game out of fear they will be called a camper.

    Personally I wasn't expecting much in terms of a CoD revival with AW, so my disappointment wasn't blunt.  I tried Ghosts, didn't like it.  I really enjoyed BO, WaW, MW 2&3 though.

     

    I'm not entirely sure what it is with this game, but it feels like it's lacking something.

    You are right, I have been playing HC TDM and it is a constant kill, then die. Kill, then die. You can't hardly move out of your spawn without being ambushed from at least two different angles.

     

    I am not one to complain about any COD games, but this is ridiculous.  I really like the game mechanics, and feel that it could be so much more.

     

    Common sense would say if you are going to bring Exo movement into the game, make a larger map. But, that is one problem, the spawn logic is F*ed up.  I do get on the right side of the logic occasionally, but I don't want that to happen.  I want a solid spawn system, without drastic flaws.  I don't see them being able to solve this problem, if they did this game would be great.

     

    No need to nerf, the lags not bad, THE SPAWNS SUCK DONKEY D*!k.

    I'm on 360, I read the notes and didn't see anything either, that's why I posted asking if anyone noticed a difference.

     

    My first assumption was it's just me, but like someone above you posted, and from my personal experience, it feels like a HUGE difference, not just a tiny bit.

     

    As someone who used the laser a lot before and after the patch, I don't exaggerate when I say that it feels like it's killing twice as fast as before.

    I agree.  I've grown slightly suspect of spawning favoring a payback opportunity versus spawning in a safe area.  Even when a team is relatively close together, spawning near a last death isn't totally out of the question despite the area not being safe.

     

    Sucks that every single CoD has the same damn problems and the patches come in small doses over the months to satisfy the community until the next installment is released.

    When BO2 dropped it has SBMM and the connections were just as bad. They were smart enough to get rid of it, hopefully SHG does the same.

    I don't doubt you notice a difference. I really would love if they didn't tell us when weapons are buffed or nerfed.
