    I was just playing then i noticed a guy in the cell in the jail.The jail door is closed but he used a trample steam to glitch his way in.He couldnt get past the bed but it was still pretty much a barrier glitch.I made a video and put in my theater if anyone would like to see it,put it on youtube,or send it to david v. im on xbox GT:JayCubz

  • Today, I was checking it out - attachments don't seem to matter. Once I got filled from an enemy - I know that because the guy killed me and I recoginzed the gun, but it had an acog sight and I don't use it. It scavenged anyway.

     

    I'll try again tomorrow to see if it's from a friendly's gun - perhaps it won't scavenge your team;' weapons.

     

    I do know one thing - it only picks up "loose" ammo. It won't grab what's left in the gun.

    Knifing can be fixed if they're willing to admit the problems with it:

     

    First and foremost, Panic Knifing. This is the one thing that just ruins it for for people. The idea that if you just tighten your grip on the controller a little bit, you'll get an easy/free kill from anyone within range. That needs to go. The adjustment that can be made is simple:

     

    The Knife should only be a 1hko from behind. This whole 1hko from anywhere business is what helps cause the problem. By making it a 2hko from the front, and 1 from the back, it brings a little strategy into the game and doesn't kill the stealth aspect of the knife.

     

    If that can't be implemented, then adjust it so that the amount of damage a knife does, is based upon how much health your character has at the time. In other words, if you have 100 Health, it does 100 damage. If you have < 50 Health, it does 50 Damage. This would mean that if someone shoots you, you won't be lunging through bullet after bullet for a free kill. You'll take your death and move on.

     

    If either of these solutions were implemented, it would solve the problem completely IMO. You won't need to reduce the lunge because people can shoot you to reduce your knife damage, and you won't have to re-map the button because the knife can still be effective if you're in a situation in which you likely would have gotten the kill anyway had you used a gun. It's also probably the simplest of solutions to implement.

    I'd love to see Cliftside, Airfield or Castle.  As far as TF domininating in those maps, most of the good players will be able to cunter it some how.  Smoke has always been an underused/underrated tactical in all the CODs I played, and it would be my first counter in those maps..  BTW:  Smoke is great against squatting TF/LMG or snipers in Nuketown and Carrier, the two maps in which I use it.

    I've always argued for a similar system, at least since MW3 was announced. Basically the damage would be the reverse of what we normally see for weapons. Instead of losing damage at longer ranges, it would gain damage. So it would have a damage profile of say, 50-75. 50 Up close so that it can't get a 1hko except for a headshot (2x Multiplier), and 75 at Range so that it can get a 1hko from a distance easy enough with a 1.5 Multiplier.

     

    This would solve all the arguments I think about how to balance sniper rifles. You won't have to mess with their mobility values, their scope in speeds, their sway, or anything like that. By simply modifying damage calculation, you kill quick-scoping without hindering Sniping.

     

    It's win-win.

    Maybe you had a second controller on, not actually splitscreening but it was informing you that there you were player one. I've seen this happen only when I was splitscreening so my guess is that it's some variation of that.
